Rider C Caserta stated that the slow early tempo of the race did not suit HEEYA, and when attempting to improve into the race from the 700 meters was forced wider on the track and when placed under pressure only finished the race off fairly.

Added that he was caught three wide and he didn’t have the horse to get to the lead, further added that he placed his mount under hard riding from the 600m where it failed to respond and weakened from that point. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery rate. A warning for a poor performance was placed on record.
