Checked approaching the finishing line. Apprentice A Jones, rider of CRAIGLEA CLINKERS pleaded guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that approaching the finish line she permitted the mare to shift out under riding resulting in AGENT NINETY NINE being checked. The licence of apprentice Jones to ride in races was suspended for a period of days to commence midnight 7th August up to and including midnight 18t

Commenced to hang out shortly after the start and near the 900m despite the efforts of its rider, made heavy contact with SAILING. A short distance later SAILING shifted in and made contact with EMERGENT which had continued to hang out and proved very difficult to ride. A post-race veterinary examination of did not identify any abnormal findings. Trainer C Anderson was notified that EMERGENT will be required to trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to the horse racing again. Since trialled.
