Wild Calm Began only fairly & from wide barrier was shifted behind rnrs in early stgs. Rdr reported mnt settled back in field, as expected. Said from 600m was unable to commence a fwd move due to rnr pos in advance of mnt being inclined to shift ground. Std he shifted to inside of rnr on straightening, however, mnt responded only fairly to his riding. Added filly did not respond to riding until 150m, where finished race off well thereafter & may be better suited over additional ground. Billionair Baby Bumped heavily on jumping with RECOMMENDATION. Disappointed for a run near the 300m and was unable to secure clear running until the 250m. Eagle Farm 30/07/2022
Hard To Say Jockey A. Morgan reported at scale that it was his intention to be further forward but due to being interfered with at the start, he got further back than he anticipated. Raced wide throughout. Jockey A. Morgan lost his whip near the 100m. Doomben 24/12/2022
Shortly after the start was bumped. Rdr reported, whilst he had to make some use of the gelding to cross to the lead in the early stages, his mnt still travelled well throughout the middle stages. Std when he placed mnt under pressure rounding the home turn it failed to respond to his riding and weakened. Added in his opinion, the gelding may not have handled carrying the 60.5kg in today’s race. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Wyong 24/11/2022

Bella Rouge Bumped shortly after the start. When qst, rdr std thought he’d settle behind pace, but when he felt there was a risk of being caught wide without cover, he intended to be midfield. When qst re riding in straight, rdr std on home turn he started to shift outwards, but then shifted back towards inside hoping for clear running. Std near 300m, he switched out into an available run but passing 200m was unable to proceed fully into run & was placed in restricted room, whereby mnt was unable to be tested until afforded clear running over final 75m. COT: If begins well, option to settle further forward; settled worse than midfield. On jumping shifted in & made contact with a rnr. From a wide barrier was shifted behind rnrs in the early stages. When qst re settling towards rear of the field, rdr confirmed there was an option for him to ride mnt in a more forward position, and after beginning satisfactorily he attempted to obtain a forward position, but when it did not show the necessary speed to do so, to avoid being caught wide and without cover, he desisted from riding mnt along and as a consequence it took up a position behind midfield. Gracie Blue Travelled keenly app & rounding 1st turn. When quest re riding near 900m, in particular why when travelling comfortably outside the leader she elected to ride mount along to improve with, & hold a posn inside, a runner which improved around her mount in 3 wide posn rdr stated up to that point her mount had enjoyed moderate sectionals. Rdr stated when runner improved around her mount she was concerned it might be difficult to run down appreciating moderate early tempo & its light weigh impost. Rdr reported he anticipated settling in a more forward position, however, after being crowded shortly after the start he was obliged to settle further back than intended.
