Passing the 500m steadied from the heels of SCHMOOZER shifted out and bumped TRUST IN A GALE which was taken wider on the track. Bumped by SCHMOOZER on a number of occasions passing the 250m. Inside the final 100m was steadied to avoid the heels of SCHMOOZER which shifted out under pressure. A Allen, rider of SCHMOOZER, was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

J Lloyd, rider of NORTHERN EXPRESSA, was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that he made insufficient effort to prevent his mount from shifting in approaching the 900m which resulted in ALL THAT PIZZAZZ being taken in and crowding BLUE SPINEL which had to be checked. The licence of J Lloyd to ride in races was suspended for a period of 12 days to commence midnight 11th June up to and including midnight 23rd June 2022.
