Waddell advised that she had been instructed to ride forward, however after beginning awkwardly and pressuring the filly in the early stages, the filly did not have sufficient speed and she elected to take hold and obtain cover in the second half of the field. Apprentice Waddell added that the filly travelled well in the middle stages, however, she did not quicken as anticipated when asked to improve near the 400m.
