Checked approaching the winning post. Trainer G Richardson was advised I AM FEARLESS must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race or trial start. Mr Richardson advised going forward he would be making gear adjustments to I AM FEARLESS.

Rider stated during early stages, runners showed superior speed & began to improve under riding to mounts outside & he therefore elected to desist from pressuring his mount, which settled with cover behind what he perceived to be a fast tempo. Rider stated mount travelled uncomfortably throughout mid stages & hung out approaching & rounding home turn. Rider stated mount failed to quicken strongly in run to line & approaching 100m was eased when tightened. Post race vet no abs.
