He indicated that as the mare has been over-racing he applied a crossover noseband at the horses most recent start and whilst the horse still over-raced he was not dissatisfied with the performance. When questioned regarding the performance of the mare, rider stated that his mount travelled comfortably in the lead throughout the early and middle stages. Rider stated that from the 600m, his mount responded to his urgings to increase the tempo of the event and responded well entering the straight. Rider stated that near the 200m, runners commenced to challenge his mount and from this point, his mount weakened under pressure and failed to run the trip out strongly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Held up for clear running from the entrance to the home straight until approaching the finish line. When asked to comment on tactics leaving the 600m, specifically if there was an opportunity to improve and shift wider on the track, rider S Collett explained after racing awkwardly to the inside of the heels of ARGYLE PINK, she was prevented from improving as TORUN had improved quickly to her outside at that point of the race.

Trainer K Fogden was advised MONEY IN MY POCKET would require a veterinary clearance including the results of satisfactory endoscopic examination prior to its next race or trial start.
