When asked to comment on tactics, Rdr advised not intention to lead, adding horse can be slow out of barriers and today, after being very well to begin from wide gate & with limited speed shown by inside runners, gelding raced keen. Said consequently allowed horse to stride & lead. Added gelding can be a difficult to restrain in its races & for this reason was reluctant to over restrain in early and middle stages. Tnr advised now intention to drop gelding back in distance & consider gear changes, adding would also consider engaging a senior Rdr for future races starts.
