Stewards, in considering the incident noted that GAMBOA, which was racing in advance of SMOOTH MOVE, was weakening and shifted out marginally and may have contributed to SMOOTHE MOVE being disappointed for that run. Stewards also reminded S Cormac that whist both riders were contesting the same run he should be mindful of shifting ground in similar circumstances.
